Gastrointestinal Infection is a common and frequently-occurring disease in China. Norovirus belongs to the caliciviridae family and has 20-hedral particles with a diameter of 27-35nm and no envelope. Norovirus is one of the main pathogens causing non-bacterial acute gastroenteritis at present. This virus is highly infectious and is mainly transmitted by contaminated water, food, contact transmission and aerosol formed by pollutants. Norovirus is the second main pathogen that causes viral diarrhea in children, and it breaks out in crowded places. Group A rotavirus (RV) is the most common pathogen of infantile diarrhea in autumn and winter, ranking the first in the epidemic degree of infantile diarrhea (about 40%). There are 51 serotypes of human adenovirus, which belong to 6 subgroups A~F. Group F is also divided into adenovirus type 40 (Ad40) and 41 (Ad41), which is called Enteric Adenovirus (EAdV). EAdV is an important cause of acute severe diarrhea in infants and young children worldwide and is believed to be related to sporadic diarrhea and outbreaks of diarrhea in kindergartens, schools and hospitals.

Product Details FAQ Specification Instructions

This product selects the VP6 gene (FAM) regions of Group A Rotavirus, Hexongene (HEX) regions of Enteric Adenovirus and ORF1 gene (ROX) regions of Norovirus, and designs four sets of primers and fluorescent probes that cover foursites of the genes. The four sets of primers and probes can specifically bind to thetarget sequences. When the RT-PCR amplification reaction is performed, thefluorescent signal (s) can be detected by a full-automatic fluorescent PCR detectorto realize real-time online monitoring of the RT-PCR reaction. In order to controlthe entire extraction and detection process, human gene (Cy5) was act as anon-competitive internal control during the extraction and detection process.

 Rapid

It can accurately detected norovirus, group A rotavirus and enteric adenovirus in 35 minutes together with Bioer FQD qPCR instruments.

 High sensitivity

500 copies/mL.

 Strong applicability

Applicable to human stool specimens.

 Strong specificity

No cross reaction with adenovirus 3, coxsackie A2, enterovirus 71, coxsackie A10, adenovirus 7, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Escherichia coli 30, Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus; The possible triglycerides, hemoglobin, white blood cells and mucin in the sample have no effect on the detection of the sample.

 High accuracy

Results from reference materials: positive coincidence rate 100%, negative coincidence rate 100%.

 Simple operation

Only 35min complete the RT-PCR in one step, the amplification and detection progress in the closed tube to prevent aerosol pollution.
