This real-time RT-PCR test kit is designed for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA from human nasopharyngeal swabs, oropharyngeal swabs, sputum, alveolar lavage fluid specimens. This kit is a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) detection kit, specially targeting ORF1ab gene and N gene of SARS-CoV-2. It also targets endogenous internal control (β-globin gene) to monitor the quality of the specimen collection and extraction process. The lyophilized powder is designed for easy storage and transportation while ensuring the sensitivity andaccuracy of the kit.

Product Details FAQ Specification Instructions

The kit is a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) detection kit. The kit selects the N gene (FAM) and ORFlab gene (VIC) regions of novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and designs two sets of primers and fluorescent probes. The two sets of primers and probes can specifically bind to the target sequences. When the RT-PCR amplification reaction isperformed, the fluorescent signal (s) can be detected by a full-automatic fluorescent PCR detector to realize real-time online monitoring of the RT-PCR reaction. To control the entire extraction and detection process, an additional primer/probe for detecting the human B-Globin gene was set as a non-competitive internal control during the extraction and detection process. The test kit also includes positive and negative control to monitor the quality of the detection process.

Extremely strong thermal stability: Resistant to high temperature treatment, unchanged performance.

Transportation:≤37℃, The lyophilized kit does not need cold chain transportation and greatly improves the convenience of transportation.

One step method: Full component lyophilized, avoid the loss of high viscosity components such as enzymes, more easy to operate.

Wide detection range: Samples conclude human nasopharyngeal swabs, oropharyngeal swabs, sputum and alveolar lavage fluid specimens.
Strong specificity: There was no cross reaction with other kinds of common clinical pathogens, and the common interferences did not affect the kit.

1. The unopened kit should be stored at -25°C - 8°C away from light.

2. The kit can be stored for up to 12 months if all components are kept in the manner above. Do not use after the stated expiry date.

3. Don't open aluminum pouch unless you are ready to use the kit.

4. The lyophilized reagents (reaction mixture) reconstituted with water should be stored at -25°C ~ -15°C away from light for up to 1 week. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw (no more than2 times).

5. The kit can be transported at up to 37°C for no more than 1 month.
