Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae are two major bacterial pathogens responsible for respiratory infections, including pneumonia, meningitis, and otitis media. Streptococcus pneumoniae, also known as pneumococcus, is a gram-positive bacterium that can cause severe diseases, particularly in young children, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. Haemophilus influenzae, a gram-negative bacterium, is similarly associated with respiratory tract infections and can lead to invasive diseases such as bacteremia and epiglottitis. Both bacteria are spread through respiratory droplets, and vaccination is available to prevent infections caused by these pathogens.

Product Details FAQ Specification Instructions

This kit selects highly conserved regions of Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae, and designs specific primer probes. The primers and probes can specifically bind to the target sequence, and under the action of Taq enzyme, the fragment can be specifically amplified, and the fluorescent Probes are hydrolyzed during amplification, resulting in fluorescence. The detection system contains dUTP-UDG enzyme anti-pollution measures to fully degrade possible product contamination and avoid false positive results; in addition, an internal standard is set, which is a highly conserved region on the human genome, and the internal standard monitors sample collection, transportation, nucleic acid extraction and PCR amplification. Increase the whole process, avoid false negative results, and ensure the effectiveness of the whole process.

Advantages

This kit can qualitatively detect the nucleic acids of Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae, providing information for clinical diagnosis; the detection system contains dUTP-UDG enzyme anti-pollution measures, which can fully degrade possible product contamination and avoid false positive results; At the same time, human-derived internal references are introduced to monitor the entire process of specimen collection, transportation, nucleic acid extraction, and PCR amplification to avoid false negative results; it takes only 32 minutes to complete detection and issue report.

Streptococcus Pneumoniae and Haemophilus Influenzae Nucleic Acid DetectionKit (Fluorescence PCR) is used for the qualitative detection of the StreptococcusPneumoniae (SP) and Haemophilus Influenzae (Hl) nucleic acid in specimens ofsputum from suspected cases. The kit is used for the auxiliary diagnosis andepidemiological surveillance of SP and HI infection, cannot be used as the basis forthe diagnosis or exclusion of cases alone.

1. Accuracy: after the positive reference products P1-P10 and negative reference products N1-N10 of Hangzhou Bioer Technolo gy Co., Ltd. are reconstituted as required, they are extracted with Bioer extraction kit BSC71S1E and tested.

Result: The results show that the nucleic acid of Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae can be accurately detected. The test results of enterprise reference products: the positive coincidence rate is 100%, and the negative coincidence rate is 100%.

2. Precision: after the precision reference products J1-J2 of Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescence PCR) are reconstituted according to the requirements for use and extracted by Bioer extraction kit BSC71S1E, using three batches of the detection kit to do the detection, and repeated for 10 times.

Result: The results show that the inter-assay and intra-assay precision variation coefficients of the three batches of detection kit were all less than 5%, and the reagent precision is great.

3. Clinical specimen experiment: Bioer extraction kit BSC71S1E is used to extract and detect clinical specimens of Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae. At the same time, the detection kit of the same kind that have obtained NMPA certificate are used as a comparison to verify the compliance rate.

Result: The results show that: compared with the competing product of Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae detection kits, the clinical samples verified by Bioer Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae detection kit has a higher detection coincidence rate and higher amplification efficiency.
