Porcine circovirus (PCV) is a circular particle DNA virus with the smallest molecular weight. The virus can continuously infect PK 15 cells without cytopathic changes. In vivo, the virus mainly infects monocytes and macrophages, among which porcine alveolar macrophages are the main target cells. PCV was divided into two serotypes: PCV1 and PCV2, PCVI was the non-pathogenic virus, and PCV Ⅱ was the pathogenic virus. This kit is suitable for auxiliary diagnosis, detection and epidemiological investigation of porcine circovirus Ⅱ (PCV Ⅱ) in tissues and blood of pigs.
