RT-PCR is widely used because of it is a technology with the advantages of specificity and sensitivity. The real-time fluorescent RT-PCR method is recommended for laboratory pathogen nucleic acid detection. The detection of porcine PRRSV is not only used for PRRSV diagnosis, epidemiological investigation, and pathogenesis research, but also can diagnose multiple strains and distinguish different strains. Based on its own mature molecular diagnostic platform and technical reserves, Bioer Technology has developed Porcine PRRS  virus nucleic acid detection reagent related products for different customer needs.

Product Details FAQ Specification Instructions

Porcine PRRS Virus Nucleic Acid Detection Kits are advanced molecular assays designed for the sensitive and specific detection of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) Virus nucleic acids. These kits utilize state-of-the-art molecular biology techniques to target unique genetic markers specific to the PRRS Virus, enabling accurate identification and quantification of viral RNA. With high sensitivity and specificity, these kits are invaluable tools for diagnosing PRRS infections in swine populations, monitoring disease outbreaks, and facilitating research into PRRS virus epidemiology and pathogenesis. Suitable for use in veterinary diagnostics, research laboratories, and animal health surveillance programs, these kits contribute to the effective management and control of PRRS virus infections in swine herds, ultimately enhancing animal health and welfare in the swine industry.

Sample Type: Pig lung, lymph, tonsil, brain tissue, whole blood and serum can be selected.

Strong Applicability: Bioer Porcine PRRSV detection kit can meet different customers' requirements for porcine PRRSV detection or research.

Simple Operation: RT-PCR reaction can be completed in the same tube, without tube opening during the process, reducing the risk of contamination.

Strong Specificity: No crossover with classical swine fever virus, porcine circovirus type 2, porcine pseudorabies virus, porcine epidemic diarrhea virus and porcine parvovirus.

Save time: The whole reaction process can be completed in 1 hour with Bioer fluorescence quantitative PCR detection system.

The Porcine PRRS Virus Nucleic Acid Detection Kits are widely used in veterinary diagnostics and research for the detection and monitoring of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) Virus infections in swine populations. These kits are essential tools for diagnosing PRRS infections, monitoring disease outbreaks, and conducting research into PRRS virus epidemiology and pathogenesis. They are utilized in veterinary clinics, research laboratories, and animal health surveillance programs to enhance the management and control of PRRS virus infections, ultimately contributing to improved animal health and welfare in the swine industry.

The mixed samples of three strains of porcine PRRSV, namely, American classic strain, high pathogenicity strain and NADC-30 strain, were tested for 20 times with this reagent. Statistically, it was found that the coefficient of variation (CV) of Ct values of the detection results of each strain were all less than 1%, indicating that the kit had good precision and stable and reliable detection results. The specific results are summarized as follows:

1. The kit need to be transported under freezing conditions.

2. The kit should be stored at -25℃~-15℃ away from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw more than 5 times.

3. The kit can be stored for up to 12 months if all components are kept in the manner above. (Please use the kit in the period of validity).
